UroStatistix is a specialized software for quality management of microbiological urine examinations in urological practices. The application supports practice owners in fulfilling their legally mandated documentation obligations under the German Infection Protection Act (IfSG §23) and the German Medical Association guidelines (Rili-BÄK).
The core module enables structured recording of urinary pathogens identified in patients and their determined antibiotic resistances. Antibiograms and multi-resistant organisms are systematically documented and archived. An integrated search function enables targeted retrieval of archived data.
The statistical analysis component aggregates recorded data across all patients and presents results in graphical and tabular form — enabling practices to identify patterns in their antibiotic resistance data. A copy-and-paste interface to existing practice management systems (PVS) eliminates redundant data entry. PDF export enables archiving of analyses.
The browser-based architecture requires no additional software installation — only a current browser is needed. The software was developed in close collaboration with medical expert Dr. Ivo Beyaert (DIAG WISS) in accordance with EUCAST standards.
