The VIEW B2B Customer Portal is the central digital platform of RWE Supply & Trading for industrial and enterprise customers in European energy trading. VIEW provides integrated access to all relevant applications and data of the energy portfolio — transparent, structured, and in real-time.
The platform comprises four specialized modules: portfolioVIEW provides a comprehensive overview of generation, consumption, contract data, and trading positions for individual electricity and gas portfolios. forecastVIEW automates the nomination process for day-ahead and intraday forecasts and offers additional price security through its LimitForecast feature. dataVIEW provides current and historical exchange prices for electricity and gas (spot, index, futures) across Europe — flexibly analyzable and comparable. marketVIEW offers direct access to analyst assessments, market reports, and current developments.
The interfaces support various integration paths: API, SFTP, Excel, and web interface — adapted to individual customer processes. Enterprise authentication is handled via Azure B2C and Microsoft Entra ID. The infrastructure is based on Amazon AWS with EKS, Terraform, and CI/CD via Azure DevOps.
